Math
In F-5, we are currently switching to the new math program called Eureka or AKA Engage New York. There is a solid structure designated to this program. In the classroom, we will be learning math in the following manner:
1. Fluency Practice
2. Lesson
3. Lesson Practice
4. Homework
As parents, you should see nightly Self Study(Homework). I always allow for ample amount of time for work to be done in class. However, if a student does not bring math homework home, please check to see if they finished it in class or forgot to bring it.
